Going Forward...so long 2009! :)

After talking about 2009, let's move on and look forward to 2010! :)
2010 is gonna be a GREAT year! (power in confession =p)
i pray that 2010, i can be even bigger hearted towards people. have spiritual breakthroughSS.
these 2 points are like the summary of my desires of 2010. :)
there is much to look forward to and carry a smile for.
hopefully i can brush up or take up a skill :)
End the chapter of this year with a nice full-stop and move on; no matter how boring or sad or happy or crazy it's been.

a new line in a new paragraph on a new chapter. :)

2009 has been... ...

There's some things that I regret,
Some words I wish had gone unsaid,

That had some bitter endings,

well, think this song is really appropriate for 2009.
2009 has really not been a good year. with all the economical financial crisis, all the many natural disasters, all the plans that changed, all the losses of people close and acquaintances.
I stopped ACCA, i didnt get to go to UK but went HK instead, i kept falling sick, got HIGH fever twice, the only thing that went according to plan was bumblebee. Managed to squeeze in a trip to batam. that's about it for me for 2009.

But in the midst of all the not so happy things, God has been faithful even when i was faithless.
He kept my parents and myself free from retrenchments, He blessed my brother with good results upon graduation and many temp job openings, He blessed my grandparents with good health, He blessed me with protection against H1N1 even when i had high fever twice, He blessed me with my besties, my close pals and DG mates like bear + krisy + joyce + rebecca + jomama + kaili, my great BFFs like lijia + AK + ah gong, my awesome CG pals like grace + wei, my ever-caring colleagues like unni + alice + clara, faithful blog readers like joelle + jing, my crazy poly mates like joce, lia, karen, ning, bp.

i'm choosing to continue to smile even when it's tough. :)
when the going gets tough, the tough gets going. :)

2010 will be a greater year.
it's gonna be a greater year. :)

Past Happenings...

from where we left off..after the Batam getaway, met Krisy & Bear together with some others to try this ramen place at Holland V.
Not bad ambience. a little squeezy. but we had a nice time nonetheless :) then, headed to this place called Shin Yuu. it's THE KIND of place me and my besties would love to hang out. they're crazy about jap food. love ulu places so we're not disturbed by 'kids'. haha. XD
it was THE MOST expensive meal of the year but the service and the food there was good. so we really didnt mind the price :)

then, i met up with the baobei family. it's been awhile. but, it's a family of smiles and laughter :) Joelle's back from Aussie too. and Eric was gonna serve the nation. so we decided to meet before he started the 'service' :) had our meals at MOF at Suntec. not bad food and reasonably priced. :)

then, there was Krisy + Ter's chalet at Aloha Pasir Ris.

hanged out there for awhile. :)

And just last friday. Had a company Christmas Dinner & Dance function at Sentosa Pavallion. Nice place. good fun. entertaining programmes. :) it was like an international event. haha! we had people from ALL OVER! interesting experience for me :)

then i had an important meet up.

and had candle light up service.

the place was just LOVELY! SUN was back. felt more complete in a sense. to have her around. :)

brought the family for a feast at ITE East College. there's this restaurant there that was open to public. my brother studies there and keeps insisting we should have a meal there. so, there we went. :) the grilled lobster was YUMMY! :P hmm, on a scale of 1-10, i'll give the place 6.5-7 :)
then, i went mid-night shopping with lijia! at MUSTAFA! it was SOOO crowded! it was our first time there. it was just crazy! the place is HUGE!!

so, got most of the things i need for christmas already. thanks to lijia!
