Oh happy day :) plus my gratitude

Hello! :)

I just wanna say I think I had a good day today :)

I managed to close and balance the bigger set of books and helped in the one that I always do. Though I had to OT to clear some things, I feel quite good :)
Plus! I had wanted to go for this recital by Tay Kewei but we were a step late so we(me and bear) did not get the tics cuz it was sold out. The last time she had a gathering, I was in London and was not able to attend. So I just tried to give sistic a call and hoped they have some but to no avail but they kept my contact and said they will put me on a waiting list. I kind of gave up already but they called me this afternoon just when I was about the finish with closing! Made my day! :p

I just wanna also now give a word of thanks! :)

updates of work

my colleague on medical leave has to extend her leave (can't really blame her for that. she needs the rest.)
a new temp boy came in. one more person to coach.
my supervisor gave me something else that i have to complete by tomorrow when i'm at work.
i'm starting to dread work.
been OT-ing alot.

p.s: someone take me to see the beach at night so i can listen to the waves? or bring me kite-flying at barrage?? please? hais...

if this goes on, i would most likely leave in jan next year...we'll see how this is going.

about work

please allow me to to whine a little.
in my opinion, work has been seriously short-handed.
the colleague i'm closest to has served her one-month notice, they released one of the temp-girls cuz she was not being very helpful at work and another colleague went on a long medical leave without any notice. (but i really can't blame her cuz it was a necessary operation)
so that leaves ME (besides my supervisor) the 'senior' staff. they have converted two of the temp-girls to a perm position. so yea. besides 'looking out' and coaching them, i have a new jobscope and i'm receiving loads more phone calls and i'm OT-ing alot more. =(
(see why i've been whiny?)
so anyway, after being sane for awhile, i know this adjustment is to stretch my capacity (as i've asked), so i have to kind of take it in my stride and pray that the other perm staff (who's suppose to cover for my colleague who left) comes soon. like really crossing my fingers. hais.

forgive me if i don't wanna meet you after work, cuz i'm just mentally tired. i mean even if you talk to me, i'm just physically there and not listening. for real. =(

Footprints in the sand...

One night I had a dream --
I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord, and
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand;
One belonged to me, and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of my life flashed before us,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that many times along the path of my life,
There was only one set of footprints.

This really bothered me, and I questioned the Lord about it.

i've been super whiny and not exactly the nicest person to be around. but i feel valued and loved and i'm thankful. for the phone calls, the texts, the emails, the laughs, the company and the FB messages. from home, from japan, from aussie and from st. burys. from near and from afar.

when things get a lil overboard...

what will you do when things get a lil overboard?
be it family, friends, work, ministry etc.

If you realised, diving right into it, will just get you angry, upset, emo, depressed (you get it? basically, negativity)

what i feel we should do (even i'm learning too)
take a step back,
have a look.
smile.
then take action.
by the time you smile, you should have already found the best solution and way to handle your emotions :))
