underwood mode
i was youtube surfing and got into a carrie underwood mode. she's just SO GOOD. plus the lyrics to her songs are really awesome. :))
here's some..just some really. i can put ALL her songs here. haha! :P
the last two is the same song by different people. both versions are nice. mainly due to nice lyrics? haha!
anyway, Kara is a fantastic songwriter. :)
God bless y'all! :)

Stress Management
A lecturer when explaining stress management to an audience, raised a glass of water and asked ‘How heavy is this glass of water?’
Answers called out ranged from 20g to 500g. The lecturer replied, ‘The absolute weight doesn’t matter. It depends on how long you try to hold it.
If I hold it for a minute, that’s not a problem.
If I hold it for an hour, I’ll have an ache in my right arm.
If I hold it for a day, you’ll have to call an ambulance.
In each case, it’s the same weight, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes. That’s the way it is with stress management. If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later, as the burden becomes increasingly heavy, we won’t be able to carry on.’
As with the glass of water, you have to put it down your burdens for a while and rest before holding it again. When you’re refreshed, you can carry on.’
So, before you return home tonight, put the burden of work down! Don’t carry it home. You can pick it up tomorrow. Whatever burdens you’re carrying now, let them down for a moment if you can. Put down anything that may be a burden to you right now. Don’t pick it up again until after you’ve rested a while.

"I thought this a very good analogy. People get stressed about work, about relationships and honestly, many itty bitty petty things. Best to put them down(or give them to God if you believe in Him). Don’t pick everything up after you’ve rested. Maybe you’ll realise after putting it down, that it’s not worth carrying."

a box
life is like a box.
things, thoughts, people are 'items' we place in this box.
when the box starts to get filled and is reaching its brim,
we rectify the items' existence in the box and start removing some items within, so that there is space for new items
here's where importance and priorities and choices come in.
there are some 'requirements' to meet to be kept in this box.
what the requirements are, is solely decided by your own good self with probably some influence and/or peer pressure from love/close ones.
don't get upset with anyone when things are not looking or going the way you want it to be.
you made those choices remember?
:)
James4:1
What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don't they come from your desires that battle within you?

Hillsongs
got this link from AK on his tweets.
my take on all this. People who grew up listening to Hillsong would know that they are really anointed and gifted in the things they do. and like what Bobbie Houston says, people who have those critical perceptions, its cuz they are not close enough yet. have a look at the report :)

headed over to my cousin's place (mom's side).
this is black castle. a place where the pubs were. chilled there for awhile.
then Karl's parents brought us to Cheddar town. yes! as in Cheddar cheese cheddar town :)
we had a BBQ on a day where the weather was really really cold. and Karl's dad gave me this. haha! he said it will keep me warm. now you know why ang mohs love to drink? haha!
i went to this event called the 'North Somerset Show'. it's this big big place where the locals, namely the farmers 'exhibit' their cattle or products or machines they used. had loads of fun looking around. :)
.JPG)
loved this animal! it's called the alpaca. it makes a sound that goes "mmmmmm". totally cute can! and their eyes and so big and nice!
this is why people call you a pig when you keep sleeping. ALL the pigs were in snooze mood. but they're SO cute! hahaha!

my cousin's shades. love it!
part of the castle
very very old books...
one of the stairways inside.many stairways inside. it would really be fun to play hide and seek in the castle. haha!
there was a museum on all the soldiers that help protect the royal family. and we got to try on some of it! :)
.JPG)
still in the castle :)
here comes the highlight. my cousin-in-law's car broke down! after much much tries. we decided to call for the tow truck. so i was towed back from Wales-Cardiff back to UK-Bristol! haha! i was really totally enjoying the experience. who would have thought that man? in a holly? my cousin was SO stressed out!
so the car broke down, can't be fixed. can't go further places. just headed to town. abit of a spoiler. but we still went out. headed to town twice. and did shopping! :)

then the car still wasn't fixed. but that didnt stop me. haha! i had to move about! come on man. i'm in UK. can't expect me to just sit in a house and wait for my flight date. so i called my grand aunt again. :x hehe :P
and she so nicely agreed to bring my around London! :) went most of the tourist attractions. saw the London eye, walk around the parliament square. saw many churches, saw the palace. walked the shopping streets.
then before i had to fly back, she brought me to places in Suffolk. this picture below is a place where it is used for one of the scenes for the coming Harry Potter movie. haha! :P
