Since the news broke...

today was the day that i 'finally' got slammed by colleagues about church happenings.
well, it wasn't exactly a slam. but anyways, you know what i mean.

it all started when one of them spotted this guy and commented that he looks like Ps Kong (which i checked, SO NOT!haha). then they continued giving loads of comments. at this point of time, i was swallowing my porridge and taking all the comments in. they spoke about being a pastor is such a good job. you can have a wife, have sex and just 'act holy' in front of the followers. and how can a pastor's wife do what SUN is doing and all the house and all.
i was keeping quite quiet (which is not the usual me) till one of the other asked,
A: 'which church are you from ah?'
me: 'city harvest church'
A: 'huh?!'
me: 'city harvest church'
A: serious?! (has a 'oh shit!' facial expression)
me: 'yes'
A: ' you trust what they are doing ah?'
me: ' ya, i mean how cheap do you want accomodations to be in Hollywood? and the government want to check then let them check lor. till the truth is out, we will know then. church services are going on as per normal anyway'
A: 'moves on to other topics - hungry ghost festival...'

and they didn't just talk about CHC, New Creation came into the picture as well, and catholics and methodist and all.

i was just glad they moved on to other topics and at the same time speaking up for SUN and now they all know i'm a city harvestor! :))

people... ...think before you talk and comment. and whatever the press states/writes, you should know how much to believe by now don't you think?
