First thing that attracted me to the show was the cast. just look at the cast! oh and cuz, Lee Dong Chul(main lead) was played by Kim Bum (from BOF) & Song Seung Heon (Autumn Tale)!! :)
Anyway, this is a VERY heart-wrenching drama. if you have a weak heart, i won't recommend.it starts with how a little boy's (below) dad died a very 'accused' death, and how his 2 sons grew up knowing all they were living for was to seek revenge for their father.
One line, which i really love in the show was something like this.
This is what i translated on my own part. this is a good value to give a child.

and of course, this boy took the place of his father to be the head of the household and how he literally gave up his life and lived for his loved ones. he would put aside all his longings unselfishly, lovingly and courageously go all out to protect his family and loved ones. ones who have pledged loyalty to him and whom he has pledged to.
this drama kind of shows life in a very 'real' state. the good and ugly. the joy, hatred and tears that life can bring. the tough decisions that one has to make in life's journey while considering lots of other factors. around the middle of the show, the plot gets rather draggy. but you will have to watch it through to see how things progress. on a whole. i liked the plot. except the part where the male lead doesn't make it to the end alive! argh! how can?! but it's a nice show. just that i like happy endings. so bear with me :)
i want all bad guys to die and all good guys to have happy ending! duh? haha :)
i have loads of thoughts while watching this drama. just a short sharing. :)
